OS X Mountain Lion (Coming Soon)

With the next version of OS X, your Mac is fully integrated with Apple TV. Using AirPlay Mirroring, you can wirelessly stream what’s on your Mac to your HDTV. You can show web pages and videos to friends on the couch, share lessons with a classroom, or present to a conference room. This is a a big deal for your Mac, and for everyone around it. iTunes (Home Sharing)

You can already enjoy all of your favourite iTunes Music and Movies on your Apple TV via AirPlay. Home Sharing lets you share your iTunes libraries between computers and iOS devices on your home network. This feature requires that you are on the same WIFI network as your Apple TV, and that you are signed in using the same Apple ID. To switch it on, activate via the advanced tab in iTunes, then go to your settings menu on your Apple TV.

Spotify comes in all shapes and sizes, available for your PC, Mac, home audio system and mobile phone. Wherever you go, your music follows you. Spotify is amazing with your Apple TV, but you must have Airfoil installed (See Below).

Radium (Via Airfoil)

Raduim is a fantastic internet radio player. It sits in your menu bar and out of your way. And it just works. Radium is tiny, low on resources, and packed with features. And that’s why you can count on it to deliver your music, news, talk, sports, from 50 countries, in 100 languages, at the blink of an eye, with a click of a button. *Also requires Airfoil.

Price: $25.99

AirServer (iOS to Mac)

AirServer for Mac adds full mirroring support with hardware accelerated graphics. You can use an iOS device capable of Mirroring (like an iPhone 4S or an iPad 2 or the new iPad) to stream content directly to your Mac. Works great with Real Racing 2 HD. Reported playback speeds are faster than Apple TV.
